When a logo is not as clear as that?
A commission came in for a logo, and after a tow month contract negotiation, the project began.
It was thought that the understanding of what a logotype was, was quite clear. Mainly as the world is full of logos.
Anyway, after rendering out a series of logos, the client came back to me, in an insulting fashion, declaring; “What don’t you understand.”
They later went on to show an image of a Moet and Chandon illustration by the very talented artist Mucha stating, that is a logo!
Unfortunately the contract was signed, and it didn’t include any clauses about client interpretation of industry standard terminology. So I spent the best part of one month rendering a full illustration of a redwood tree.
Live and learn.
